Yogyakarta Earthquake Relief Efforts

On May 27th 2006 around 6am, an earthquake with magnitude of 6.3 hit Yogyakarta and surrounding. Almost 7000 people lost their lives and 200,000 homes were destroyed.

Friends of Joshua and Cynthia combined with friends of Florence Indriyani (from San Francisco Bay Area) gathered some money. These money were brought to Yogyakarta by Joshua and Cynthia. With this money, some food supplies, construction/demolition tools, school supplies, etc were bought and directly donated to whomever still needed help.

The full report about the activities of Joshua and Cynthia in Yogyakarta can be read in their Blog at http://yogya-earthquake.blogspot.com

Helps are still needed as they are in the phase of rebuilding their lives.  Please contacts us if you would like to offer some helps - we could direct you to the right contacts.
